september updates

hey there! sadly, all my productive plans have gone up in smoke with the unexpected release of silksong. i mean, i have been waiting for seven years for this game and it's taking all my spare time, but i love it!

that said, jaoi is not entirely doomed. i'm in the process of digitally archiving my handwritten journals i've kept for over a year, so i have quite a lot i'd be interested in posting.

in case you missed it, i uploaded a crazy (for me) amount of fics in august.

unlock my world is a my new series of what i call "minifics". the concept behind them is to create a one-off piece, to drop you into an established world and let you imagine the events prior to and after the scene. some may be AUs, but others aren't.

hidden in plain sight - a pocket AU, loosely inspired by tomb raider, one of my favourite video game series. gaspard is our lovely tomb raider, while xavier works at a bar. i'm fond of this pairing, i think it shows in the writing too. apologies if you want dual-wielding, high octane adventures and booty shorts. sometimes, it's not about the grand aventure, it's about what's right in front of you. i really adore this version of them, i hope someone else does too.

like a prayer - this is a smutty piece inspired by some old fanart of gaspard in a nun outfit and xavier in a nurse outfit. essentially, it's medical malpractice in a church. it seems like no matter the fandom, you'll always return to your roots...

prove it all night - a healthy dose of vacation smut, for the juri enjoyers. this one is frankensteined together with various discarded pieces, so it is extremely rough. gaspard and xavier take a detour to a love hotel in japan.

i also dug up a little something from my archive for september. i'm not sure what to sort this under as of yet, so i've included it as part of unlock my world.

solstice - a short, terrible poem, originally written on the back of a grocery store receipt. unspecified pov, set in escapades era. not an au.

quantity over quality, that's my specialty.

til next-time!
